As a child of the island, the elements in my creations often relate to my homeland. Orchid Island, too, is the cradle of the white Phalaenopsis orchid. During my days abroad, I couldn’t help but think of the coastline and islands of the East. I remember the first time I set foot on Orchid Island—it was also my first experience of seasickness. The weather wasn’t great those few days, but I rode a little 50cc scooter around the island in the drizzly rain. Even through the misty drizzle, the horizon over the sea remained vividly captivating. The island’s canoes, flying fish, dogs, and the traditional thong of the Tao (Yami) aboriginals all felt so familiar (blushing~).

As an expat in a foreign territory, Manila, my thoughts occasionally trace back on my old time adventures while I was still young without regrets. This inspired me to create a piece in tribute to the island’s skies and seas.

Handwoven with gradient blue and gold-edged petals, this piece features a Swarovski marquise-cut stone as the centerpiece, exuding an elegant and soft presence, fresh and refined. Each time it’s worn, it presents a unique, natural style depending on the angle.

The casual, relaxed feel of woven jewelry is what I love most. Every meticulously crafted piece is never exactly the same, like a living work of art, each breath bringing a different interpretation.

Care Instructions:
a. Keep the accessories dry and avoid contact with water, alcohol, and other volatile liquids.
b. Do not wear them while bathing or exercising. Some beaded pieces contain sterling silver, so avoid wearing or keeping them near hot springs.
c. When not wearing, store the accessory in a sealed jewelry bag. If it's dusty, gently clean with a soft-bristle toothbrush or a silver polishing cloth.
